Australia's problem with law and order

Apparently many years ago, Australia was a safe place. People didn't need to lock their doors and children played safely in the playgrounds. Now somehow things have changed.

One reason is the lack of respect for law and order. The police and govt are not interested in going after (real) criminals - villains who bash old folks, rape women, rob, bash, etc.. Why? Because the justice system usually only puts them in jail for a few years if they ever get convicted. Its ironic that the system seeks to protect individual rights first - but ends up protecting criminals - and debases that of the community it is meant to serve and protect. But that's the western system of justice for you.

I think rapists who break into people's homes and rape women - ought to be shot if they are caught red-handed and try to escape - and if caught later with overwhelmingly evidence- ought to be placed in a cold concrete cell for the rest of their natural lives.

I think we should execute them. Why should society pick up the bills for assholes like that even for the upkeep of a concrete cell. No at the very least I'm thinking chemical lobotomy.
