Melbourne Public Transport Sucks Ass

Yes its true. Victoria's train system has been shut down because the weather got a bit warm.

I am amazed how Melbourne, NSW public transport system can get so @#$king bad. Frankly I blame the voters - they voted for Labor despite the fact that Labor ALWAYS screws up the economy and public infrastructure works. Get this - the new train station at Spencer Street went overbudget by one billion dollars - yes, thats 1,000,000,000.00. It cost in total 2 billion dollars.

Both states still haven't even managed to get together a working ticketing system. Consequently, public users find that the ticket system in their station is vandalized and are unable to use the train.

Now Victoria's train system has been shut down because the weather is too hot. Thousands of commuters were stuck in stinking hot train platforms waiting for trains that don't show up. Wow, I know the Labor dudes love Castro a lot - but surely we don't have to emulate Cuba's public transport system.

The Govt's response - the deputy Premier Robert Hulls says:
"I think (the Minister for Transport) Lynne Kosky's doing a fantastic job in relation to the transport plan, I think Lynne Kosky is a very passionate minister,"

Yeah, "passionate" - full of crap ideas that don't work. WTF do we want a passionate minister. We want a minister that does her bloody job whether she likes it or not.

Then again - Robert Hull is the same Justice Minister who believes that longer sentences don't deter crime - and wants ex-cons to be quickly placed in your neighbor far from his place.

The Premier of Victoria is on holiday - and is probably laughing his pants off.

The whole lot of them ought to be tarred and feathered.
