Back in Melbourne - Home Sweet Home

Its about 20C now - the air is dry, fresh, crisp and clean. So unlike the hot humid air we have in CBD Singapore.

Everything is as it was since I left it last. It feels like I've been away for over a year - even though its only been about a month and a half.

There's a bit of house repair chores thats already lined up. I've got to fix the loose mortar on the roof. It shouldn't be too hard actually.

The garden could do with a mow.

The roses need pruning.

A wild tomato plant thats sprung up in our garden needs to be staked. Amazing, its produced about 20+ tomatoes. Thank God for small blessings.

Unfortunately, none of the ranunculus flowers seem to have come up. (See photo).

And of course our paperwork and taxes need to be attended to.

Now mum has finished feeding (my nephew) Euen his lunch - its taken her a good hour to accomplish the task. He's shouting "I'm free" with all the joy of a redeemed slave.

Its good to be back home.
