Rape Victim Stoned to Death by 50 men

13 year old rape victim - stoned to death by 50 men - in front of 1000 people. None of the rapists were brought for questioning.

This is totally perverse. What possesses such people to commit such wicked acts? This makes even the horrors of Sodom and Gomorrah look tame in comparison.

I pray that God will strike these monsters down and wipe them and their bestial culture off the face of this earth to be tormented in hades for all eternity.

Some people may say that peaceful negotiation and gentlemanly round table talks will bring about peace. Deep down everyone is supposed to be warm and cuddly. But how can you negotiate with such absolute monsters? You cannot!!! Neither can you respect a sub-culture which practices such manifestly abhorrent acts.

Things like decency, honor, justice, respect for your fellowmen are all artificial constructs. Or if you are a believer - principles given by a Christian God our creator. Humanists nowadays however choose to observe that all cultures are equal and worthy of respect.

I don't believe that is true.

(The photo above is not from the mentioned execution but from an earlier one. Is this sort of behavior worth tolerating?)

AN ISLAMIST rebel administration in Somalia ordered that a girl, 13, be stoned to death for adultery after the child's father reported that she was raped by three men.

Amnesty International said the al-Shabab militia, which controls the city of Kismayo, arranged for 50 men to stone Aisha Ibrahim Duhulow in front of about 1000 spectators. A truck laden with stones was brought to the stadium for the killing. Amnesty said the girl struggled with her captors and had to be forcibly carried into the stadium. Amnesty said: "Inside the stadium, militia members opened fire when some of the witnesses to the killing attempted to save her life, and shot dead a boy who was a bystander."

The girl's father told Amnesty that when he tried to report her rape to the militia the child was accused by the administration of adultery and detained.

None of the men accused of the rape was arrested.

That is one big reason why I could never stay in Middle East.
The place itself is beautiful but that people! What can I say... except that most are kind but so completely blinded by a faith that has been misinterpreted, misconstrued, etc.

All all these men who stoned the girl, I hope, and I wish that they will never know peace in their life. They do not deserve to. And I hope they learn. They probably would not. Oh damn, how it hurt. I should never wish a person ill... I don't want to... but I want to. But I do want her to rest in peace. I hope she is in a better world now. DAMN! What a terrible world.

Horrifying isn't it? ... And its been that way for countless generations. Imagine the suffering all those women went through in that barbaric society. Respect for all cultures, my arse. Not all cultures are equal or decent - as evidenced by this monstrous act. (Yet, I would hazard a guess that the 50 men who were stoning the girl would think we are the barbarians) That's why I hate it when people complain about George Bush, or criticize America's involvement in Iraq. Surely putting in place Western forms of government and culture in those societies - and ending such evil practices, justifies the war.

Nothing justifies war. I don't have a solution but blood shedding is not the answer. War is substituting one barbaric behaviour for another, no?

Sometimes war is necessary - especially against aggressor nations. There is a time for peace. A time for war. Look at the Korean War. If the US did not step in to defend South Korea- it would have ended up like North Korea.

Maybe, maybe not. Who knows if the Koreans themselves would not write their own history ultimately (without interference from the rest of the world)? Maybe it is a matter of time that they found themselves a compromise for peace?

Why do you think that a total victory for North Korea would have made a better government? Look at the two nations, do you honestly believe that North Korea would be a decent place to live in? Its exactly like George Orwell's Nightmarish fictional world, "1984". Even if the US pulls out of South Korea now and abandons its military support for SK, do you think that the Communist Chinese would withdraw their support for North Korea if it invades the South?

I don't have an answer... I do not know. I just cannot believe that shedding blood is the right way to go. Maybe it is inevitable but personally I would rather not have to live through a war. And for that, I do not wish it upon any other person.

Nonetheless I'm sure that if you could have killed all those 50 men who were about to stone that little girl, you would have (as I would). Kill 50 to save 1. Doesn't seem to make sense on face value, does it :)
