The worse years in my life was spent at school. Being beaten, intimidated, bashed and humiliated by teachers at that Barker Road school was really fucking awful.
I've managed to blot a lot of those unpleasant memories together with whatever they taught.
On ABC radio I overheard this remark - "being unable to cope and get along at school does not define your intelligence".
Some were meant to fly, some were meant to swim.
