Boggabilla suffers significant storm damage

Emergency crews are reporting significant storm damage at Boggabilla on the New South Wales - Queensland border.

The Rural Fire Service says a number of homes, shops and the local post office have lost their roofs.

Power lines are down across the town and a section of the Newell Highway has been closed.

Meanwhile Faux News is also reporting that medical staff are treating emergency personnel for extreme laughter caught while attempting to say the town's name with a straight face.
